Synopsis

Cycle “A música vinha duma mansidão de consciência”

Janeiro is a Portuguese singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, regarded as one of the country’s most solid and distinctive contemporary voices. His sound blends Portuguese tradition with MPB, jazz and electronic influences, resulting in a sophisticated, contemporary and wide-reaching project.
With a well-established career dating back to 2015 and national recognition following his Festival da Canção appearance, Janeiro has cemented his artistic identity with the release of several works. His album Fugacidade was especially acclaimed by critics, earning him a Latin Grammy nomination for best Contemporary Pop Album and a spot on NPR’s Alt.Latino podcast’s music round-up.
On stage, he puts on an intimate, immersive show, marked by musical quality, attention to detail, and a strong connection with the audience, which works as well in small venues as it does in festivals and high-profile cultural events. He’s currently working on his new album, expected to come out in 2026, while simultaneously furthering his career in music production and sound design.

It’s in this context that Janeiro welcomes Tatanka, who features on the lead single for his new album, Imune ao Ruído. Known as the voice of The Black Mamba, Tatanka adds an intensity of performance and an intimate and emotional touch to the project. Together, they offer an artistic collaboration that reinforces the unique and distinctive character of this live show.
