Kualan is born from the interception between song and restlessness. A space where writing coexists with the urgency of improvisation and communication. Touching on fragments from the past and emotions that refuse to be silenced, this project vocalises the kind of music that carries with it nostalgia, regret, and their inevitable anger.
Chiefly conceived by musician Rui Catarino, Kualan dares to simultaneously face the familiar and the unknown, as if remembering something that has yet to take place.
Drawing to the Beat Workshop
Under the guidance of artist Carlo Giovani, at each concert, the little ones are invited to illustrate the sounds coming from the stage, expressing themselves through a variety of visual arts.
